     Prior to taking the course ED609 at the University of Guam, I was confident in my knowledge and use of technology. My initial expectation of this course was that I would end up learning the same stuff I already knew. What I did not realize was that there was a large and expansive world of technology that stemmed far beyond my realm. While I am very adept with technology, I am very comfortable with what I am used to. As an educator in the 21st century, I understand it is my responsbility to break out of my comfort zones.

     Upon completing this course, I am excited to incorporate much of what I learned and discovered. This course taught me a great deal and uncovered a large variety of online interactive tools that I did not know was available to me. I feel confident that I can utilize the knowledge I gained from this course to improve my methods of teaching in the classroom. I believe that my students will benefit substantiually from the growth I have experienced during the course of this class. Dr. Cyrus has taught me how to look beyond my comfort zone and experience a whole new world of technology options.
